Toy Collection @ Lucas Oil Stadium - December 13th, 2009!
On Sunday, December 13th, 2009, WISH-TV8 and The Salvation Army will be collecting toys and donations from Indianapolis Colts fans outside Lucas Oil Stadium right before the Colts battle the Broncos.
Please bring new, unwrapped toys for any age child, up to 12. We'll also have donation buckets if you'd rather make a cash donation. Be certain - The Salvation Army will use your donations at this game to purchase more toys to give to more kids. It's our promise to do the most good.
Considering the current economy, The Salvation Army is expecting a record number of families to qualify for our Toy Shop. Your WISHTree donations are vital to meeting the needs of our neighbors this Christmas.
With help from Two Men and a Truck and SAM (Store and Move), the Christmas Toy Shop is starting to fill up with wonderful toys for many deserving children. A special thank you to you for your generosity. Please know that The Salvation Army will do the most good with your donations to provide children with a happy Christmas this year.
