Three Ways YOU Can Help
Toy Shop is a great opportunity for volunteers and donors to touch the lives of children in need at Christmas. Here are a few ways you can get involved with WISHTree, Toy Shop, and AngelTree.
1. WISHTree
The easiest way to participate in WISHTV's WISHTree program is to take a new, unwrapped toy to any of our dropoff locations. Or, if you are planning to attend the December 6th Colts game versus the Titans, bring a toy or donation with you there. We'll be positioned outside of each of the four gates. 2. Volunteer at Toy Shop
On our distribution day, volunteers take families through the toy shop, helping them select toys to give their children for Christmas. Stockers will keep the tables of toys filled. We'll need help at set-up, distribution, and tear-down. This is a great opportunity for groups looking to volunteer together. Contact Elizabeth, our volunteer coordinator, for more information.
3. AngelTree
AngelTree is The Salvation Army's Toy Drive at other organizations, churches, businesses, and schools. A tag is selected from a Christmas tree, a toy is purchased and designated for a boy or girl of a certain age. All the toys from AngelTree and WISHTree are combined to fill up our Toy Shop. If you have an AngelTree tag to accompany your toy donation, you can drop it off at any Dunkin Donuts location in Central Indiana.
